Carol Ann Duffy, Poet Laureate of Britain, has written a lovely article for The Guardian in London about poets who write about war. As part of the effort, she asked her fellow poets to "bear witness, each in their own way, to these matters of war." The resulting poems can be read
here. I especially like the poem by Gillian Clarke called
