UPDATE: MARY LEE HAHN HAS GATHERED UP THE POETRY FRIDAY LINKS OVER AT A YEAR OF READING. THANKS, MARY LEE!
The schedule says the round-up is over at Andi Jazmon's great blog, A WRUNG SPONGE. But I don't see any posts there since July 20, and I know Andi and her family have been having a hard summer. Send good thoughts her way, and I'll update in the morning (it's 1:00 a.m. right now) if there's a change.
Thanks for telling readers about our new book! What you didn't tell them is that your poem "Who's Who" about Noodle and Tood is going to become a classic. I predict that it will be memorized by millions of kindergartners and one day I'll be at the supermarket and the kid in back of me will start chanting, "Noodle and Toodle / Toodle and Nood / both of them babies / and both of them rude . . . " (with loud laughter interrupting the poem after the word "stinky"!) Thanks again, Julie!
ReplyDeleteHa! Love the sneak peek at your poem that Janet just offered. My copy is already on its way, and I'm so looking forward to reading it. Congrats, Julie!
ReplyDeleteUnexpected change of plans: the roundup is at A Year of Reading http://readingyear.blogspot.com/2012/08/poetry-friday-roundup-is-here.html Thanks for changing your link!
ReplyDeleteI'm ALSO very proud to be a part of this project AND to have one of my poems living in the same place as yours!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janet and Renee....
ReplyDeleteMary Lee, that is exactly how I feel - just so pleased to be in the company of all the talented people who contributed to that book!
